Gandhiji - The Father of the Nation

Gandhiji helped us in attaining independence from British rule,
Non-violence was his primary tool.

He started war for independence with a new weapon,
Which was unknown to then rulers of the nation.

Gandhi is not a personality but an ideology,
He changed the war methodology.

His strengths were his bravery and leadership,
Which challenged the mighty lordship.

His biggest virtue was simplicity,
Which gave him strength for all his audacities.

His teachings are still relevant,
For all the vices still prevalent.

Our great country is his creation.
Truly He is the father of the Nation.
