NATIONAL GANDHIAN LEADERSHIP CAMP
September 01-15, 2017, Venue: Gandhi Teerth, Jain Hills, Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
Gandhi Research Foundation is an international organization striving to establish a world founded on Truth and Nonviolence. The foundation promotes Gandhiji's legacy of inclusive peace and oneness among humanity through a number of well designed innovative campaigns like Gandhi Vichar Sanskar Pariksha, Mohan to Mahatma Mobile Exhibition, research and rural intervention. The multimedia digitized audio aided interactive museum on Gandhijii's life and work is the first of its kind in the world.
In order to promote in the society sustainable social order, development with justice and harmony among communities the Foundation offers a series of training to the youth in the form of regular national level workshops, conferences and training exposures.
If you believe you can be an instrument of social transformation and nation building, if you think you are a change maker in the life of people, society and the environment, if you want to be a companion of poor in their journey out of socio economic discrimination and subjugation, and help people come out of their conflicts and build peace in society, here is a golden chance for you to attend a fifteen day Leadership camp that deals with all these aspects of leadership in great detail.
The Foundation organizes a Fifteen-Day 'National Gandhian Leadership Camp' at Jalgaon, between Sept 1 and 15, 2017. The camp offers to the youth a unique opportunity to learn from senior leaders the art of organizing the community for sustainable life. We invite fifty youth for this fortnight camp, 2-3 candidates from each state of India.
Application is invited from candidates who are interested in social development and nation building. Application must be endorsed by their respective institution. Individuals who are not part of any Institution will have to furnish two references.
Last date for the submission of application is July 10, 2017.
Candidates have to pay a refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000/- at the time of submitting the application.
Participants will be given free boarding and lodging. Their travel (sleeper fare or its equivalent) will be reimbursed on completion of the camp along with their registration fees.
