Four Laws

[Message for Shri Verrier Elwin's Ashram recorded by M. D. under November 13, 1932]

Cleanest air, cleanest water, simplest food and cleanest thinking which really means communions with God are the four laws, the first three flowing from the forth. Hence your English saying, plain, that is, simple living and high thinking. I would like to simplify that saying into - clean thinking and clean living. Boils are a symptom of unclean living in my sense of the expression. Let this then be my message to the brothers for a beginning.
