Letter from Gandhiji to Sarojini Naidu, October 12, 1928

Satyagraha Ashram, Sabarmati
October 12, 1928

My dear Mira,

I have your letter. Here is Padmaja's reply to my letter. What can I do now when doctors themselves advise her not to leave the sanatorium? I shall write to her again and write to her from time to time and keep myself in touch with her. You must fulfil your engagements without any anxiety. God will take of her better than you and I, and use us as his instruments whenever He wills.

I hope you will keep good health during your tour. I expect to hear from you from time to time.

The political atmosphere is none too calm, none too clear. Poor Motilalji has is work cut out for him.

Shrimati Sarojini Naidu
