This book is a great contribution to placing India in the world as she is worthy of. By selecting and going in depth to four of the looming historical peaks over two millennia of her past, this book shows the uniqueness of India's peace achievements for herself and for humankind. To the point that in present times, her peace vision deserves being a primal guiding light to the urgent long range transformation of the U.N Organization. This book is a valuable contribution to the peace history literature and defines India's place in the world.
