33. Ba's big heart
Even after Bapu's 1932 fast in jail, Ba was permitted by the Government to visit him now and again. But she did not quite like this. As she said one day, 'T shall stop coming here hereafter. There are so many others in jail and some of them ill as well. And yet their rela­tives are not allowed to visit them. Often I feel concerned about Ramadas and Bapu. Then at once I think of the thousands of wives and mothers, who must be feeling anxious about their husbands and sons, as I do about mine. Well, God takes care of everyone. The Government, however, gave me this opportu­nity to visit Bapu, but I must not take any further advantage of its goodness."
